Waterproof Blinds That Also Block Light

Our bathroom blackout blinds are made to measure in the UK as roller and vertical blinds. The PVC-coated fibreglass fabric is waterproof, so steam and splashes do not soak in, and it blocks out light. It wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Colours run from white and cream to greys, blues, red and black, with two leaf prints on the rollers.

Choosing a Blackout Blind for the Bathroom

A roller sits flat on a standard bathroom window and uses a left or right chain with a safety clip. A vertical suits a wide window or glazed door and turns with a wand, with no operating chain. Both are blackout when closed, with a thin line of light at the edges.

Blackout helps if the bathroom window faces a street light or a bright room. Measure with the roller blind measuring guide or the vertical blind measuring guide, and order free samples. See our bathroom roller blinds for the roller range.

Bathroom Blackout Blind FAQs

Yes. The PVC coating is waterproof, so they cope with steam and splashes as well as blocking light.

The fabric stops light passing through it. A thin line can show at the edges, so measure carefully.

Wipe it with a damp cloth. Waterproof PVC does not soak up water.

Rollers come with a clip to secure the chain and a safety device. Verticals use a wand, with no operating chain. Every Blindstyle blind also comes with measurement protection, which gives you a reduced price on a replacement if you measure wrong, and the price depends on the blind.
