Made To Measure Fabric Window Blinds

At Blindstyle, we stock a range of made to measure fabric blinds available in lots of colours and with a load of benefits. We currently stock both fabric roller blinds and vertical blinds. Both blinds are available as either dim out blinds or blackout blinds, available in a range of colours, child-safe, and able to fit all window sizes. Our dim out blinds are made from polyester whilst our blackout blinds are made from a pvc composite.

FAQs for Fabric Window Blinds

The biggest visual difference between polyester fabric blinds and vinyl or pvc blinds is the shine of the material. Polyester fabric is soft to touch and it's a light fabric that allows light to partially come through. Whereas, pvc and vinyl is a thicker fabric (so it can completely stop light) that has a more plastic feel and slightly more of a reflective shine to it.

Fabric blinds can be great for your home. Dim out polyester fabric is light, great to look at, and does a great job at reducing sunlight and stopping people from seeing in. Blackout pvc and vinyl fabric has the same benefits but with the added benefits of being blackout and waterproof.

Both polyester and vinyl/pvc blinds can be dusted down with a feather duster or dry cloth without an issue. However, vinyl and pvc blinds can also be wiped down with a wet wipe or damp cloth without an issue as they're waterproof.

Fabric blinds will normally last around 5 to 7 years, with that being know to be extended if they're not over aggressively used and are put in the right environments (like not putting a polyester blind in the bathroom).
