Cordless Blinds for Windows

Cordless blinds for windows from Blindstyle are perfect for creating a child safe and pet safe environment, and for creating a clean look with no dangling cords. We currently stock cordless venetian blinds and vertical blinds, both in a range of colours.

Our cordless vertical blinds use a wand system for their operation. The wand hangs from the headrail and can be slide across the headrail to open and close the blind. Then, to open and close the slats themselves, the wand attachment can be twisted. Our venetian blinds on the other hand are perfect fit blinds. Perfect fit blinds use a wand for the opening of the slats but a clip (attached at the bottom) to slide the venetian slats fully up or down. Perfect fit blind also have the added benefit of not requiring any screwing or drilling to be installed, instead using an innovative clip system.

As our cordless blinds are available in a range of colours, materials, and styles, we recommend ordering some free samples before purchasing so you can get a feel for the blind in your home. FAQs for Cordless Blinds

Cordless blinds are window blinds that don't use any cords for their operation. Instead, they'll usually use a wand, a clip, or another attachment for operation, or they can be automatic. Though, some can do none of those, such as curtains.

Different cordless blinds will work differently. Perfect fit venetian blinds work by using a wand to tilt the individual slats and a clip attachment at the bottom for opening and closing the blind. Vertical blinds also have a wand attachment for tilting the individual slats but they don't have a clip system, instead the wand can be slide across the headrail to open and close the blind.

Whilst all of our blinds are child safe, our cordless blinds are safest for toddlers as instead of needing a breakaway cord or to secure a chain, they completely remove them from the blind. As to which cordless blind you choose, that is down to personal taste and window sizes.
