Our bedroom venetian blinds are made to measure in the UK in three materials: slim 25mm aluminium, and 50mm faux wood or real wood for a warmer look. If you are choosing venetian blinds for a bedroom, the slats do the work: tilt them open to wake up to daylight, angle them to keep the glare off a pillow, or close them for privacy at night.

These are indoor venetian blinds that fit almost any window, with up to ten free samples posted first class so you can see how a colour and a material look in your own bedroom light, and a 4 year guarantee on every blind.

Sleeping Well With Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds are not blackout blinds. With the slats fully closed, a little light can still pass through the small cord holes in a wooden slat and around the edges, so they suit a bedroom that needs privacy and controlled light rather than total darkness. Choose an exact size with about 5cm of overlap each side to keep the gaps small.

Keep beds, cots and furniture away from the window cords, which are never longer than 1.5m, and follow the child safety instructions supplied with your blind.
