Perforated Venetian Blinds That Soften Harsh Light
Our perforated venetian blinds are made to measure in the UK with slim 25mm aluminium slats punched with tiny micro-holes. The holes scatter strong sunlight into a soft, diffused glow, cut glare and let you see out softly while the blind keeps daytime privacy. These perforated blinds come in a crisp white and a modern grey, wipe clean, and suit a home office or living room. Up to ten free samples show the effect in your own light.
What Perforated Slats Can and Cannot Do
Perforated slats are about soft light, not darkness. The holes let a little light through even when the slats are closed, so for a bedroom or any room that needs to be dark, choose a solid slat from our venetian blinds. For night-time privacy a solid slat is the better choice too.
Where you want a view out and softer light, such as a home office or a south-facing room, perforated is hard to beat. There are two ways to buy the perforated blind. Bracket-fixed blinds use a cord and wand and cover windows from 61cm up to 400cm wide. Perfect Fit blinds clip between the glass and the beading of a uPVC window, so they need no drilling and no cords, but they stop at 137.2cm by 213.4cm and come in a white, golden oak or mahogany frame.
