A Wide Range of Window Blinds

At Blindstyle we have a wide range of roller blinds for you to choose from. We've put this collection together to make it easy to find the perfect roller blind for any room, setting, or feel. Whether you're looking for a specific colour (white, cream, and grey are our most popular), looking for benefits (like thermal blinds or blackout blinds), or you're looking for some funky patterns, you'll be able to find the right roller blind here.

And, don't worry about sizing. Our roller blinds are perfect for every window size. For mini & small windows, our minimum sizing for roller blinds is 61cm x 61cm; for extra long windows, our biggest drop for rollers is 350cm; and those looking for extra wide roller blinds, our rollers have a maximum width of 350cm.

The Right Roller Blind For Every Room

Trying to make a blacked out room to improve sleep or trying to find something that's easy to clean for your kitchen requires 2 completely different roller blinds. For each room and need, there will likely be a different roller blind. To help, here's the best roller options for each room:

  • Bathrooms: Here we'd recommend waterproof roller blinds as they can deal with water and steam without fabric damage.
  • Bedrooms: We'd recommend opting for blackout roller blinds here as that's the best way to block the most light and maximise your sleep.
  • Children's rooms: For children, we'd recommend either blackout roller blinds, patterned roller blinds, or a colour that they like. Blackout is a great option but if your child is happy, then that's even better. Plus, sometimes you can combine blackout with their favourite colour for the bets of both worlds.
  • Conservatories: Here we'd recommend thermal blinds as most conservatories have a lot of windows so these will help with regulating temperature.
  • Kitchens: If you're near the sink or any area it could get dirty easily, waterproof rollers will be best. For any other area, you can opt for normal (dim out) roller blinds.
  • Living Rooms: Dim out roller blinds are usually fine here. Though if you have issues with glare on your TV, a blackout roller could help better with that.
  • Offices: For businesses, we'd usually recommend blackout roller blinds. With better light control you can reduce glare, stop your team from roasting, and not have them be blinded by a low sun. We've also found most offices look for plain roller blinds and opt for darker colours that are less easy to see dirt on (like a soft grey or blue).

If the room you're adding a roller blind to isn't in this list, you can reach out to our customer service for more support.

Roller Blinds FAQs

Our roller blinds are made from polyester, with some having a uPVC coating. Polyester is a strong, durable material that provides a dim out finish. The uPVC coating over the top allows the roller blind to become waterproof, thermal, and blackout.

Roller blinds are available in multiple styles and can fit multiple needs. We stock plain, floral, and striped roller blinds that are perfect for creating any look. We also have blinds available as dim out (meaning they let in sunlight but reduce it), blackout (meaning they completely block light), waterproof, and thermal.

Roller blinds are super versatile and can be a fit for any room. Really, the question should be which roller blind is best for which room. For bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and, sometimes, living rooms you should opt for roller blinds with a uPVC coating as these make the blind blackout and waterproof. For dining rooms, hallways, non-wet areas of kitchens, or any other room, you can opt for polyester/fabric roller blinds which limit light but don't completely block it and aren't waterproof.

All blinds have some form of thermal property as you're adding another layer air has to get through. However, to help keep in heat, opt for thermal roller blinds as these have a uPVC coating that is thick and difficult for air to move through creating trapped air like double glazing.

Roller blinds offer a lot of benefits. The blinds themselves are available in mini sizes and extra wide sizes, available in multiple colours, child safe, cheap, and easy to install. Some roller blinds have a coating that helps them be blackout, thermal, and waterproof. All roller blinds (but especially those with the coating) are easy to keep clean.

We stock both blackout roller blinds and dim out roller blinds. You'll see 'blackout' noted below the product image if it is a blackout roller.

Which is better is subjective and depends on your unique needs. Dim out blinds do a great job at limiting light from outside whilst maximising your privacy. They also have a nice fabric feel whilst blackout rollers have a more plastic feel due to their coating. Blackout blinds are going to be better when you want to completely block light - like in bedrooms or maybe living rooms if you like watching movies.

To make sure that you measure your roller blinds correctly, follow our measuring guide for roller blinds.

Most of the time, installing the roller blind inside the mount is the way to go. It tucks the blind away, provides a clean look, and still blocks out light very well. The only reasons to choose outside mount are if want to block the side gaps that light comes through on inside mount blinds or if you have a limited window sill.

Our roller blinds have a standard roll, meaning that the fabric will roll of the back of the roller blind. We use a standard roll as it minimises the gap between the window and the blind which helps with temperature and gives you more space on your window sill.
