Thermal Blackout Blinds FAQs

Thermal blackout blinds work really well at both blocking out light and maintaining the temperature indoors. These blinds have a thick pvc coating that stops any light being able to pass through them and makes it difficult for air to get through - causing the air to get trapped like with window glazing.

The best thermal blinds are mostly down to personal preference as both roller blinds and vertical blinds have the same blackout and thermal capabilities. The advantage of vertical blinds is that they can stay mostly closed while still allowing in light whereas roller blinds need the whole fabric rolled up to allow in light.
