FAQs for Vertical Blinds for Bay Windows

We have a bay window measuring guide on our website to help you accurately measure for vertical blinds

Vertical blinds are made of polyester but can come with our without a pvc coating, but which one is best is down to your needs. Polyester verticals without a pvc coating will filter light and have a fabric feel, whilst those with a coating will fully block light but have a plastic feel. Vertical blinds with the coating are also blackout and waterproof.

Vertical blinds are great for providing privacy, especially while still letting you enjoy sunlight. Their vertical slats can be angled to direct sunlight into the home whilst being too angled for anyone to be able to see in.

All vertical blinds block light. Dim out verticals reduce the light coming in but doesn't block all of it, whereas blackout vertical blinds fully blockout light as the pvc coating stops light passing through the fabric.
