Our brown wooden blinds are made to measure in the UK with 50mm slats, in real basswood or UPVC faux wood. The browns run from a light natural wood tone to a deep, rich brown, mostly with plain slats and some with tapes. Tilt the slats to let light in or close them for privacy.

Choosing Real Wood or Faux Wood in Brown
Real wood shows genuine basswood grain and is lighter than faux wood, so it suits living rooms and bedrooms and wide windows, but it should stay out of bathrooms. Faux wood is waterproof, so brown faux wood is the choice for a bathroom or kitchen, though the grain is simulated and the blind is heavier. How do I measure my windows for brown wooden blinds?

When should I choose brown wooden blinds?
Brown works well in rooms with wooden floors or furniture, with cream and white walls, and in earthy colour schemes. Pick a light brown for a small or darker room and a deeper brown where you want a warmer, cosier feel.
What are the disadvantages of wooden blinds?
Real wood should not go in bathrooms or other damp rooms, and faux wood is heavier than real wood, which can matter on very wide windows. Wooden blinds also collect dust on the slats, so they need a regular wipe. Choosing the right material for the room avoids most of these problems.
