Kitchen Venetian Blinds You Can Wipe Clean

Our kitchen venetian blinds are made to measure in the UK with 25mm aluminium slats that resist water and wipe clean, which suits a room that sees steam, splashes and the occasional spill. The slim slats take up little room on a busy window sill and tilt to bring in daylight over the worktop or to close for privacy.

If you are looking for venetian blinds for a kitchen window, you can start from a short 61cm drop, so even a small window over the sink is covered. Choose a colour to match your units, and order up to ten free samples to try it against the cupboard doors.

Fitting a Blind Around a Kitchen Sink

Kitchen windows are often short and sit above taps and worktops, so choose carefully how the blind hangs. Inside the recess keeps it clear of the taps, as long as the recess has at least 5cm of clear depth, while an exact size covers the window frame with about 5cm of overlap each side. You also decide which side the cord and wand hang, so they stay away from the sink, and cords are never longer than 1.5m.

For a wide kitchen window, our venetian blinds for large windows can be split into two blinds. If the window is uPVC with beading, the clip-in Perfect Fit version needs no cord at all.

Yes. The aluminium slats resist water and wipe clean with a damp cloth, and the slats tilt to control light and privacy. All of our blinds come with built-in child safety mechanisms.

Yes. You choose between raise on the right with tilt on the left, or raise on the left with tilt on the right, when you order. Pick the side furthest from the sink or hob.

The smallest is 61cm wide and 61cm long, so a short window over a sink or worktop is covered. The largest is 400cm by 400cm.
