Venetian Blinds for Glazed Doors

Our venetian door blinds are made to measure in the UK with 25mm aluminium slats, designed for the glass in uPVC front, back and conservatory doors. The blind clips into the door glazing, so it moves with the door, with no screws and no cords, which makes these door venetian blinds child and pet safe for a busy back door. Choose a frame in white, golden oak or mahogany to match the door, and a slat colour from white and grey to black or a bolder shade.

Narrow Panels, Bi-fold Doors and Sliding Doors

Check the size of the glass, not the door. The smallest blind is 61cm by 61cm, so a narrow door panel under 61cm wide is too small for a clip-in blind, and the largest is 137.2cm wide and 213.4cm high. On bi-fold doors you fit one blind to each glazed panel, and on a sliding door one to each panel you want covered.

The glass also needs rubber beading and 2.5cm clear of handles and hinges. Yes. These blinds have no cords: you raise and lower them with the tab on the bottom bar and tilt the slats with a wand, so there is nothing for a child or pet to reach.

They fit doors with a glazed panel held by rubber beading, such as uPVC front and back doors, conservatory doors, French doors and bi-fold doors, as long as the glass is between 61cm by 61cm and 137.2cm by 213.4cm.

For a glazed door, a clip-in venetian blind sits against the glass and moves with the door, and the slats let you choose privacy or light. A blind that hangs above the door has to clear the handle.
