Made to Measure Vertical Blinds for Patio Doors

Our patio door vertical blinds are made to measure in the UK with 89mm slats, up to 500cm wide and 350cm long, which covers a sliding patio door, bi-fold doors or a balcony door. A smooth wand slides the whole blind aside so you can walk through, and tilts the slats for privacy, in polyester to filter light or PVC-coated to block it.

Up to ten free samples, posted first class, show the colour, and a 4 year guarantee covers every blind. If you are looking for bespoke patio door blinds, every blind we make is made to your size.

Blackout Blinds for Balcony and Patio Doors

For a bedroom balcony door or a patio door in a room you want dark, choose a PVC-coated blackout vertical: the slat blocks the light through the blind when closed. Light can show at the edges and around the door, so choose exact size with extra overlap at each side.

Yes, even over large patio doors. Angle the slats so they look closed from the outside, and open them when you want the view.

Yes. Fix the brackets above the door or on the ceiling so the blind clears the sliding door. Use the brackets in the box and follow our vertical blind installation guide.

Patio doors are used by everyone, including children and pets. All of our vertical blinds are cordless and use a wand to open, close and tilt the slats, and they comply with all child safety laws for window blinds, so they are child and pet safe.

Vertical blinds are the usual choice, because the whole blind slides aside so you can use the door. Wooden blinds also work on smaller doors; see our wooden blinds.

Measure the width of the opening and the drop you want, then order that size. A single blind goes up to 500cm wide and 350cm long.

Our PVC-coated blackout fabric complies with Type B of BS 5867-2:2008.

For a patio or balcony door, measure the width of the whole opening and the drop from the fixing point to just above the floor. Our measuring guide for vertical blinds shows each step. If a measurement turns out wrong, measurement protection gives you a replacement at a reduced price, depending on the blind.
