Made to Measure Extra Wide Vertical Blinds

Our extra wide vertical blinds are made to measure in the UK with 89mm slats and go up to 500cm wide, so one blind can cover a wide window, a run of patio doors or a glazed wall. The whole blind slides along a single headrail, and a smooth wand tilts the slats, in polyester to filter light or PVC-coated to block it.

Because a very wide blind has a lot of slats to gather, choose the stack side that suits the room, or a split stack that parts in the middle. Up to ten free samples, posted first class, help you check the colour.

Planning a Very Wide Window

For a very wide window, think about where the slats will rest when the blind is open. A stack to one side leaves a clean view on the other, a split stack parts the blind in the middle, and a blind over 200cm wide is heavy, so consider two blinds side by side rather than one. Wider than 500cm, order two or more blinds.

Extra Wide Blind FAQs

34 inches is about 86cm. Measure the width in three places, use the smallest, and enter the size on the product page in centimetres or millimetres. Our measuring guide for vertical blinds shows each step.

A single blind goes up to 500cm wide and 350cm long. For anything wider, order two or more blinds and measure each window or section on its own.

Over about 200cm wide, a blind is heavy, so consider two side by side. Two blinds also let you open one half and leave the other closed.
