Made to Measure Extra Long Vertical Blinds

Our extra long vertical blinds are made to measure in the UK with 89mm slats, and the drop goes up to 350cm, which suits floor-length glazing, tall hall windows and double-height walls. A smooth wand slides and tilts the full length, so there are no cords to reach, and the blind can be polyester to filter light or PVC-coated to block it.

Enter the exact drop you need, from 61cm up to 350cm, and up to ten free samples, posted first class, show the colour before you commit.

Measuring a Tall Window

A tall window needs careful measuring, so take three readings for the drop and use the smallest, and decide first whether the blind will hang inside the recess or cover the frame. For a floor-length door or window, decide how far above the floor the slats should end, and enter the drop you want. Choose the stack side and the wand side so the blind hangs where you can reach it.

Every blind is made to measure. Ours go from 61cm to 350cm long (the drop) and from 61cm to 500cm wide.

Measure from the top of the window or the fixing point to the height above the floor you want the slats to finish at. Enter that drop on the product page.

They are simply vertical blinds with a long drop. The louvres hang from the headrail and the drop is the length of the slats.

For a long drop, decide the height above the floor first, then measure from the fixing point to that height. Our measuring guide for vertical blinds covers the rest. Measurement protection comes with every order too: if a measurement does turn out wrong, you can have a replacement at a reduced price, depending on the blind.

Yes. A long blind is heavier to lift, so ask someone to help you hang it. Our vertical blind installation guide covers the brackets and the safety device.
