Here at Blindstyle, we make some bold claims – like all of our blinds come with a 4-year guarantee, that they are made to measure and that we're always on hand to provide the best customer service. But with certain things, like our claim of ‘70% off retail purchase price'* we need to have a little bit more documentation available to comply with regulating bodies, and also to prove in writing to anyone reading/complaining, that we are cheaper. We will be continuously updating this page as we compare against other retailers across the country, including major retailers like John Lewis and Laura Ashley.
*when we say 'X% off retail purchase price', this means we were able to find this percentage of savings on Blindstyle blinds when reaching out to high street suppliers for like for like made to measure blinds.
Our Claim – Save up to 70% off high street prices
So for us to claim that our prices are ‘70% cheaper than on the high street’, we need to prove that, which seems fair to us. So, what do we mean by ‘High-Street’, well we are comparing our made-to-measure blinds against retailers who also sell made-to-measure blinds, but are found on the high street. This is not their online price, but the price found in a physical retail store. We are not comparing pre-built blinds, as that is not what we sell.

Here we are 66.5% cheaper but we won’t use this as our comparison as we don’t sell Luxaflex products. But if you wanted a very similar, unbranded product, then you could in theory save up to 72.45% on the price of the John Lewis blind.
The sizes chosen in this comparison are not super small, nor super large. We have tried to be fair in choosing standard sizes windows. For example, 60cm wide x 180cm long for the vertical blind is a single patio door. A 120cm x 120cm roller blind is a typical window. As all of our blinds are made to measure and each window differs in size we have tried to be as fair as possible by not choosing strange sizes like 35cm x 35cm or 250cm wide x 40cm drop.
