Black French Door Blinds
Black Clip-In Blinds for a French Door
Looking for black french door blinds? These are Perfect Fit aluminium venetians with 25mm slats, made to measure in the UK. Matt Black, Smooth Black and Dark Metal slide onto the beading of the glazed panels of French doors with no drilling and no screws. The frame comes in white, golden oak or mahogany.
Matt Black is flat and matt, Smooth Black smoother and more polished, and Dark Metal a third dark option.
What Your French Door Needs for a Clip-In Blind
A tab on the bottom bar raises the blind and a wand tilts the slats, so there are no cords and the blinds are child and pet safe. Check three things first: rubber beading under 6mm wide, a glazed panel between 61cm and 137.2cm wide and no more than 213.4cm high, and 2.5cm of clear space around handles, hinges and vents.
Because the frame hides the sides of the glass, shutting the slats gets very close to blackout. French doors come in pairs, so order one blind for each glazed panel and measure each one. Our black venetian blinds are the standard version, and our clip in french door blinds cover every colour.
French doors usually have two leaves with a glazed panel in each, and black on both gives a strong, matched look. Use the same black on every panel.
Black French Door Blind FAQs
Can I get black blinds for French doors?
Yes, in 3 finishes: Matt Black, Smooth Black and Dark Metal. Each is a 25mm aluminium slat blind that clips onto the beading of the glazed panels of French doors.
Do black French door blinds block out light?
Not technically, but very close, because the frame covers the sides of the glass. We publish no thermal figures for them.
Will blinds that fit into French doors need drilling?
No, there are no holes. The clips sit between the beading and the pane, and the perfect fit installation guide shows the steps.
Do I need a blind for each French door?
Yes, one blind for each glazed panel, each measured separately. Every Blindstyle blind also comes with measurement protection, which gives you a reduced price on a replacement if you measure wrong, and the price depends on the blind.
