Made to Measure Vertical Blinds for Kitchens

Our kitchen vertical blinds are made to measure in the UK with 89mm slats. For a window near the hob or sink choose the PVC-coated slat, which is waterproof and wipes clean after splashes and cooking steam, and for a dry dining area the polyester slat filters daylight with a soft feel. A wand moves the blind, so there are no cords near the worktop, and each blind complies with all child safety laws for window blinds.

They suit a kitchen or dining room, such as a patio door or a tall window, where the whole blind slides aside. Free samples, posted first class, show the colour in your own light.

Choose where the blind stacks so the slats gather away from the cooker, the sink and the door, and which side the wand hangs so you can reach it with a free hand. In a dining room, a polyester blind softens the light over the table while keeping the view.

Pale colours such as white, cream and light grey keep a kitchen bright, and darker colours add contrast. If the window is close to the hob or sink, pick the PVC-coated version so it can be wiped clean.

Yes. Choose the PVC-coated slat near a sink or hob, because it is waterproof and wipes clean, and use the wand to move it so you never touch a cord.

Yes. In a dining area the polyester slat is a good choice because it filters the daylight. Choose a stack side that leaves the patio door or the view clear.
